Dillon Francis remixed my favorite song off of Gossamer and it doesn’t suck at all. It’s actually quite fun. The same can not be said of Tiesto’s tacky effort.

Chazz Rockwell at Lilium Feb. 2

My final gig before the trip to the Holy Land and two weekends away from New York City. Tonight’s featured tune is a jam off one of the many amazing acts on French label, Kitsuné. Citizens! are awesome in their own right and you should check out their album. The Gigamesh remix of this song is solid, but this shit right here, dog…

Citizens! – True Romance (Gildas Remix)

Chazz Rockwell at Lilium Jan. 24

Brand new Thursday party to go along with my Saturday festivities at Lilium. I’ll be there at 9 PM, following my happy hour set at Court Bar on 39th and Lexington. Now, music!

Flume – Sleepless (Charles Murdoch Remix)

This is one of those jawns that I consistently play and it turns heads every time.

This is the first treatment of the song that I can actually stand behind; and I firmly stand behind it.

M83 – Intro (Yotto Rework)

I haven’t been slacking on making these. I’ve been slacking on the sharing part. Henceforth, I’ll be posting edits in groups of six. Or 6 packs, if you will. Why? Because I have nearly 1,000 and six at a time makes more sense than five. Also, because I like beer.

Trey Songz – 2 Reasons ft. T.I. (Chazz Rockwell Intro)

Pusha T – New God Flow ft. Kanye West (Chazz Rockwell Intro)

Slaughterhouse – Throw It Away ft. Swizz Beatz (Chazz Rockwell Intro)

Ca$h Out – Ca$hin’ Out Remix ft. Akon, Young Jeezy, Fabolous & Yo Gotti (Chazz Rockwell Intro)

Driicky Graham – Snap Backs & Tattoos (Chazz Rockwell Intro)

Wale – Ocean Drive ft. Magazeen (Chazz Rockwell Edit)

Me at Lilium on Saturdays is now me at Lilium on Tuesdays. You know I loved my crazy Saturday nights there, but this move opens up a lot of possibilities and will lead to big gigs a plenty this summer. All good things. Now, some rap music you should really be listening to:

Cocaine 80s & Common – Motivation

Ab-Soul – Black Lip Bastard Remix ft. Black Hippy

Killer Mike – Southern Fried

Mos Def, I mean Yasiin Bey lets off this freebie over Lil Wayne and Rick Ross’ tune, “John”,  in memory of Biggie and what would have been his 40th birthday today.

Mos Def – Bey

I’m thinking next year around this time instead of everything on the radio being MMG related, it’ll be G.O.O.D. Music. Here’s Kanye’s latest posse cut, hopping on 16 year-old Chicago native Chief Keef’s big single. This was supposed to be out on Friday but the turned into today. The radio, then clean, then dirty mp3 eventually dropped and the latter is yours for the taking.

Chief Keef - I Don’t Like Remix ft. Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & Jadakiss

Is there anyone on planet Earth that thinks DJ Khaled is a good addition to anything? He isn’t. He can only function as a detriment. Here’s further illustration of exactly that on an otherwise fantastic song:

¡MAYDAY! – TNT Remix ft. Black Thought, Dj Khaled, Jay Rock, Jon Connor & Stevie Stone
