I’m thinking next year around this time instead of everything on the radio being MMG related, it’ll be G.O.O.D. Music. Here’s Kanye’s latest posse cut, hopping on 16 year-old Chicago native Chief Keef’s big single. This was supposed to be out on Friday but the turned into today. The radio, then clean, then dirty mp3 eventually dropped and the latter is yours for the taking.

March is the single best month of the year for new house music as everyone puts out big tunes in anticipation for WMC. This year was no exception as some serious goodies have been released over the last 5 weeks or so. Here’s one of those. A sexy slow burn take on that track by that chick who can’t sing for shit on SNL. By the way, I’m convinced she tanked that performance on purpose.

For those of you who have been frequenting the blob over the past several months, I’m sure you’ve noticed several things. First, pages load slow as shit. Second, updates have been sparse, and that’s putting it lightly. I’m working on optimizing everything to get the site running smoother and I seem to have figured it out. Consequently, this will lead to more updates because I won’t have to wait 17023846 minutes while all the back-end pages load for me.
So what does this mean? Plenty more news and music in the future, both for DJs and common-folk. In the meantime, 5 new edits for your cloob sets. Your patience will be rewarded. I’ve got so many goodies to share.
So I’m on the way to DJ at Lilium this past Saturday when twitter melted with the news of Whitney’s passing. Sad stuff. Needless to say, lots of Whitney got played that night and will continue to be for the next week or so. That’s where my Barcelona/Philly/NYC brother Isaac Jordan and Philly DJ/producer Elvis Suarez come in. They’re responsible for this fantastic mashup, pinning Whitney’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” vocals over Rihanna and Calvin Harris’ “We Found Love”. It’s a recipe for club ovulation.
